Deposits made prior to 5:00 p.m. Central time (M-F excluding Federal Holidays) will be considered deposited on that business day and subject to the Funds Availability Disclosure provided during account opening. Please note, cutoff time for submitting deposits is 5:00 p.m. Central Time (M-F excluding Federal Holidays).

*A $5 per month service fee is incurred for consumer accounts receiving paper statements. A $0.50 cent fee per check deposited is incurred for business accounts receiving paper statements.

To be an eligible consumer or business user, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Have an account for at least 60 days.
  • Use Grand Savings Bank online banking.
  • Use an iPhone®, iPad® or Android™
  • Install the Grand Savings Bank app.
  • Agree to the Mobile Deposit User Agreement by clicking submit on the App or signing the agreement at a GSB location.
  • Have less than two chargebacks in the last 30 days.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign up for Online Banking in order to use the eDocuments service?

Yes. This feature is only available through Online Banking for both personal and business customers.

How do I enroll in eDocuments and stop receiving paper statements?

  1. Log into Online Banking via www.grandsavingsbank.com
  2. Navigate to the eDocuments tab
  3. Go to the Paperless Enrollment screen
  4. Click on the ENROLL NOW button
  5. Read the consent agreement, then click the I AGREE button
  6. You will receive a "successfully enrolled" screen
  7. Click continue, then select the account you wish to view documents for

Will I still see the eStatement tab in my online banking?

No. The tab is now titled "eDocuments". You will be able to click the eDocuments tab to view your eStatements.

How do I find my tax forms?

          After you have enrolled to receive eDocuments, you will see "Customer Level" in your account listing. When you choose the Customer Level option, your 2016 tax forms will be listed. Just click save or view.

What is the difference between an eStatement and the "Account Activity" information available in Online Banking?

The Account Activity screen shows all of the completed and pending transactions for the last 30 days. eStatements are electronic versions of the monthly paper statements you currently receive. they include transactions from a set period of time (a statement cycle) and do not include any pending transactions.

Will my eStatement look the same as my printed document?

Yes. For legal purposes, a printed version of an online statement is the same as a paper statement.

Will I get images of my canceled checks with eStatements?

Yes. In addition, you can also access images of your recent checks through Online Banking.

If I choose to receive eStatements, will I still receive a paper copy?

No. When you enroll for eStatements, we will stop sending you paper copies of your statements. You can change your mind at any time and resume receiving paper copies.

I can't open the eDocument.

eDocuments are posted to Online Banking in PDF format. In order to view PDF documents, you may need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software can be downloaded for FREE. For technical issues please call our Online Banking Support at  800-460-2070.



Fraud Prevention Service

In our continuing efforts to keep your accounts secure, we've improved our alert system for potential fraud. Here's how it works:

  1. When potential fraud is detected, you will receive an automatic email notification with the option to reply with "fraud" or "no fraud".
  2. One minute after the email, you will receive a text alert from #96923, which also has the "fraud" or "no fraud" option.
  3. If there is no response received, you will then receive automatic phone calls to confirm or deny fraud from 800-237-8990. The call will also give the option of speaking to a fraud analyst.

We recommend that you SAVE the Fraud Center information into your phone. So, when they contact you, it will display on your phone.

How does CDARS work?

We are a member of a special network. When you place a large amount with us, we place your funds into CDs issued by other banks in the same network – under the FDIC insurable amount – so that both principal and interest are eligible for complete FDIC protection. As a result, you can receive coverage from many banks while working with just one.

These exchanges, which occur on a dollar-for-dollar basis, can bring the full amount of your original deposit back to our bank. As a result, we can make the full amount of your deposit available for community lending purposes.2

What else should I know?

Now, you no longer have to spend time managing multiple bank relationships, administering various interest rates, organizing interest disbursements from various sources, or manually consolidating monthly statements. This reduces your administrative burden, especially during tax and financial reporting seasons.
